Since you will be working with me, it might be helpful for you to know a little about me on a personal, professional and visionary level.

I believe that the only thing that makes any business different from another is the human/people aspect. The people of any organization represent the values, ethics, goals and vision of that organization. It is on this level that we most often choose who we want to do business with. That being said there are many designers out there but the unique thing about Karmic Visions is me, Darlene S. Motley.

It is my interests and passions in life that has brought me to start Karmic Visions. I suppose one might describe me as a bleeding heart liberal that cares about animals, people, and the planet. I would have to cop a plea and confess my guilt.

I have been a vegetarian most of my life and have been leading an Ayurvedic lifestyle for one year. This I must confess has been life altering in some of the most beautiful and beneficial ways. With the changes in my life, I really felt inspired to focus my business background in a direction that likewise reflects my interest and ethics. I aspire to have clients that I respect and genuinely like.

I have a very diverse business background. Oddly enough, I was even in the US Air Force, so I am a veteran that is a liberal. I have always been a bit of techno-geek that spoke English. Thus, no matter the industry or position I have always been involved in the technology and graphics aspects of the business that employed me. I won an ADDY for my contributions of concept for an annual report of an international publicly traded company, where I headed up the graphic and administration department.

Bottom line, I have worked with large companies, non-profits and as a consultant over the years and bring a wealth of diverse perspectives to any project. Not to mention I spend over 30 hours a week on the world wide web.
